Jared Christopher Gillam was born on April 22, 1993, in Pineville, LA, to the union of Gloria Abraham and James Gillam. Jared attened schools in Rapids Parrish and was a member of the Zion Hill church family where he was active in the youth choir and youth ministy. In his spare time he loved hanging out with his brother, family and friends where they mostly played video games and basketball.

  Jared was a very loving, caring and outgoing person. He loved everybody and was a protector of all he ​knew and loved especially of his mother and brother. Jared was the kind of person that would give his last if he knew you needed it, he would give you the shirt off of his back.  Jared is preceded in death by his Grandfather Douglas Gene Williams, his Great-grandfather Peter Metoyer and his Great Grandmother Elnora Williams and his best friend Marcus Phillips. Jared also leaves to cherish his memory: (Mother) Gloria Abraham, (brothers) Jordan, Justin, Joshua and Jeremy. (Sisters) Joycelyn, Faith and Jada (step father) De'Morris Abraham (Great Grandmother) Dorothy Metoyer (Step- Grandmother) Catherine Abraham, (Grandparents) Dorothy Metoyer, Betty and David Gillam (father) James Gillam (special friends) Delarine Robinson and Mario Reed and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends.
